Warr Acres works with through an agreement with Oklahoma City for disposal of household hazardous waste.  This waste includes chemicals like certain paints, stains and varnishes, cleaners, polishes, automotive products, pesticides and herbicides. Where do I find election information?

In the State of Oklahoma all elections are handled by the Oklahoma State Election Board and Oklahoma County Election Board.  Their web sites have information on how to register, absentee ballots, early voting and assistance for the military to participate in elections.  CLICK HERE to access the State Election Board web site.

Where do I vote?

Voting in Oklahoma is handled by the Oklahoma State Election Board.  Use their Online Voter Tool to confirm your registration, find your polling place, track your absentee ballot or view a sample ballot.

How do I report a street light outage?

To report a street light outage, please contact OG&E Customer Service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 405-272-9741. If a traffic control light is malfunctioning at an intersection contact the Warr Acres Streets Department at 405-787-1404. If traffic control lights malfunction or are completely out contact the Police Department at  405-789-3329.  

How does the City calculate sewer rates?

Every year the City of Warr Acres recalculates the next year’s sewer rates based on reports from the Oklahoma City Water Department and the Bethany Water Department listing a three month average consumption of water usage for each residential property. When is big trash day?

The City schedules special pickup for residents who have large trash items periodically throughout the year.  These are typically done once each quarter, and will be added to the calendar as dates are selected.  The big trash is collected by ward, and each ward will be assigned a day during that month.

Are fireworks legal in Warr Acres

Warr Acres municipal ordinance Chapter 8.20 prohibits the sale, possession and/or ignite/discharge any fireworks within the City limits.  Most other cities around Warr Acres also prohibit fireworks.
