Trash Pickup During Freezing or Stormy Weather

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want our sanitation workers out there in the freezing cold, or when the weather is dangerous (as it is apt to be in Oklahoma during tornado season, etc.), so when the temperatures dip down below freezing or there are dangerous storms in the area, please be patient and allow the sanitation workers some leeway in picking up your trash. There is no need to call city hall or public works. We will get to your house as soon as it is safe. Please remember to place your poly cart (the big gray cans with the wheels and lids) as close to the curb as possible, but far enough away from trees or mailboxes, etc., that the trucks can get to them. Overhanging trees are a problem, as are cars parked next to your cart(s). Thanks.
