City moving to Phase 3

Posted on May 31, 2020

Our city will be moving to phase 3 on June 1st as per Governor Stitt’s latest order. We will be following the OCCHD recommendations. They can be found at https://www. occhd.org//reopen

Highlights: bars, hookah and cigar bars and restaurants will still be asked to keep social distancing in place. Rest homes will still be closed to anyone except residents and staff except for end of life policy. Barber and beauty shops should still practice social distancing and employees should wear masks but they are no longer required to have appointments. We still recommend social distancing and wearing masks in public, however this is no longer a requirement. The Mayor would like to personally thank our citizens for doing the right thing during this pandemic. Your efforts kept us from having high statistics. We have had no deaths in Warr Acres. Again congratulations as we move into Phase 3. We expect Phase 4, which is no restrictions, within a few weeks unless there is a large increase in cases.
