City Guidelines Update

Posted on April 27, 2020

1) Plans are being made to slowly reopen our City on Friday, May 1, 2020. It is our plan to reveal these on Wednesday.

2.) City Hall will REOPEN on Friday, May 1, 2020, with RESTRICTIONS.

3.) Hair and nail salons, barber shops and massage parlors will REOPEN with RESTRICTIONS on Friday, May 1, 2020.

4.) Restaurants will REOPEN with RESTRICTIONS on Friday, May 1, 2020.

5.) City Parks will REOPEN on Friday, May 1, 2020, but NOT PLAYGROUND EQUIP. We want you enjoying the open air but we do not have the personnel to sanitize the equipment.

6.) Places of worship will REOPEN Friday, May 1, 2020, with RESTRICTIONS, such as every other row seating.

6′ spacing and face masks in public will still be HIGHLY recommended.

Those over 65 or under 65 with underlying health conditions should still “shelter in place” until May 5, 2020.

CDC Guidelines will be followed as well as Oklahoma City County Health Depart (OCCHD) recommendations, as well.

This is a marathon and not a sprint. This virus is not over and is still very much in effect. We are relaxing restrictions in hope the worse is behind us.

Thank you for being patient and cooperative during this pandemic.

Mayor, Jim Mickley
